I am Jacky, a design student and maker. In my work, I am curious about how objects are constructed and how material, color, and form shape a space. I prefer to work through making itself. By experimenting, I discover what an object needs and when it is complete.
I explore contrasts such as hard and soft, searching for a balance between functionality and presence. I use color intentionally, not as decoration, but as a tool to create calm, tension, or rhythm.
My background is rooted in working with textiles, yet I see material as something that can be redefined with each project. Working with new materials and different making processes is what truly excites me.
