This lamp emerged from my ongoing fascination with test samples. Small woven panels that I create to explore how colors relate to one another and how balance and tension can arise. Normally, these samples remain part of the design process and quietly fade into the background.
In this work, the test pieces became the starting point instead. By translating them into a lamp, the experiments are given a fixed form and a clear presence. What usually remains temporary and process-based is transformed into a final object.
